A Promise Born from Experience

Most people choose a career. For our founder, LynnEn Woo, his career chose him.

Long before CarePro was founded, long before he became a Registered Nurse, he was simply a grandson.

Raised by his grandmother, LynnEn witnessed the quiet challenges that so many seniors face every day. She lived with Type 2 diabetes, and as complications from the disease gradually affected her eyesight, something as routine as reading the numbers on an insulin pen became impossible.

Beginning in Grade 9, every morning before school and every evening before bed, Lynnen carefully measured and administered her insulin injections.

To him, these moments were never a burden. They were acts of love.

Without realizing it, he was learning one of life's greatest lessons—that caring for someone isn't only about medicine.

It's about preserving dignity. It's about offering patience when life becomes difficult. It's about helping someone remain independent while reminding them they are never alone.

Years later, LynnEn pursued his first degree in engineering.

Like many young people, he believed his future would be spent designing systems, solving technical problems, and building things that would last.

But life had a different plan. While in his early twenties, he began experiencing relentless back pain and stiffness. Every morning became a battle.

Sitting through lectures was painful.

Walking was painful.

Sleeping was painful.

For years, no one could tell him why.

The disease silently progressed while he continued pushing through university, often feeling frightened, frustrated, and completely alone.

There were days when he wondered if this would simply become his life.

In 2016, he finally received an answer. He was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, a chronic autoimmune disease that attacks the spine and joints.

The diagnosis explained his pain—but it also changed his perspective forever. For the first time, he understood what it truly feels like to depend on others.

He discovered that healing isn't only found in medications or treatments.

Sometimes, the greatest comfort comes from a nurse who notices your pain before you say a word. A caregiver who doesn't rush you.

Someone who sits beside you, listens, encourages you, and reminds you that tomorrow can be better. Those moments stayed with him.

They made him reflect on the care he had once given his grandmother.

He realized that while engineering builds structures, nursing builds lives.

So he made a decision that surprised many around him.

Instead of continuing down the path he had originally planned, LynnEn returned to university to earn a second degree—this time in nursing.

It wasn't because he wanted a different profession. It was because he wanted a different purpose.

He wanted to dedicate his life to caring for people experiencing the same uncertainty, fear, and vulnerability that he and his grandmother had once lived through.

That purpose became CarePro.

Today, every decision we make is guided by one simple belief: Every senior deserves to be cared for with the same love, patience, and dignity we would want for our own parents and grandparents.

We believe exceptional care is not measured only by clinical skills.

It is measured by whether a resident feels respected. Whether they feel heard. Whether they feel safe. Whether their family can finally sleep peacefully at night, knowing someone truly cares.

To every daughter, son, husband, wife, and family member searching for the right home for someone they love—We understand this is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make.

You are not simply looking for a room.

You are looking for people who will treat your loved one as family.

That is the promise we make every single day.

Because CarePro was never created as a business opportunity. It was built from a grandson's love, a patient's journey, and a lifelong belief that compassionate care has the power to change lives.
